2. INTENDED USE
The Sterile Single use Polydioxanone Suture with Needle, is a device used for inserting the
polydioxanone(PDO) suture into the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS), an area of
musculature or subcutaneous layer of the face, by using needle.
It may be applied to the part of brow, middle portion of the face, jowl, and neck. This device is
intended to fixate subdermal tissue in an elevated position in reconstructive surgery.
3. DIRECTION FOR USE
Determine the appropriate type and size.
Remove a sterile package from the box and check the sterile package integrity and the expiration
date. DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT IF PACKAGE HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY OPENED, DAMAGED OR EXPIRED.
Peel back the lid and take out the product from the pouch.
Remove the protect cap and sponge.
Disinfect the affected area.
Grab the hub and attach the tip of needle onto the skin surface.
Push the needle to insert the polydioxanone suture into the superficial muscular aponeurotic system(SMAS), an area of musculature of the face.
Remove the needle used and ensure the polydioxanone suture is appropriately implanted.
Apply a proper band-aid on affected area.
Use up the products contained in the aluminum envelope immediately after opening.
